Jeff Darcy

Jeff Darcy is a project manager with a systems engineer background and extensive experience throughout IT infrastructure, including network security. Jeff has partnered with enterprise businesses and large health systems to assess and modernize the security components of data centers and desktop environments, satisfy regulatory requirements, protect sensitive end-user information, and simplify IT management. Over his five-year career span, Jeff has managed teams in conducting comprehensive network security assessments, as well as implementing remediations for healthcare and government organizations.

At T2 Tech Group, Jeff’s current role as a Technical Project Manager at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA demonstrates his diverse qualifications. For the past 18 months, he has been leading and assisting Sharp with its effort to migrate the entire data center and nearly 400 applications to a new colocation facility. Jeff is currently leading multiple teams utilizing T2 Tech’s hybrid-Agile project management methodology. His background in security and networking allows Jeff to provide additional technical insight and value to critical, largescale projects.

Jeff has also worked with a six-hospital health system to implement updated security solutions and develop its overall IT security strategy. In this role, Jeff implemented Carbon Black and Palo Alto endpoint security solutions at multiple hospitals, across thousands of workstations and servers, to establish a modern security policy and secure the applications across the network.

Prior to this end-to-end network project, Jeff performed a full security audit, including internal and external penetration coupled with social engineering campaigns, to identify and remediate security risks for a local client. After completing this assessment, he developed a remediation strategy to address critical issues. Jeff configured network, servers and monitoring software to improve performance, provide increased visibility and improve security. He migrated physical server infrastructure to a virtual environment to lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) of IT assets. In another project, Jeff performed a comprehensive IT infrastructure assessment for a water district to transform, upgrade, and enhance its IT environment.

Jeff graduated from DeVry University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Networking and Communications Management with an emphasis in Network Security.
