Hospital Building IT Implementation
When CHLA embarked upon a new hospital building project, a 460,000 square foot patient facility with a budget of $636 million, CHLA needed to efficiently manage its limited personnel with a mix of operational and project-based responsibilities. In order to ensure that pressing construction deadlines were met and patient care was not impacted at existing facilities, CHLA turned to T2 Tech™ for assistance.
After implementing T2 Tech’s project management methodology and adhering to biweekly Sprints, staff and vendor partners executed tasks more efficiently and effectively balanced diversified workloads. This approach ultimately led to a successful opening of the new hospital on schedule without adding any additional full-time employees (FTEs) to support this monumental initiative.
As a part of this effort, T2 Tech’s vendor and competitive bidding process saved CHLA considerable capital and ongoing maintenance costs.
